The iron surface, tinged with a reddish hue over a long passage of time. Once a practical tool for illuminating the darkness, it has deepened in character through the process of aging, now quietly living on as a vessel that brings silence to a space.

Subtly hiding at its base is an antique copper freshwater crab. Originally a finely crafted ornament, it has been given new life here as a "mitate" (recontextualized) flower fastener, gently holding purple and white bellflowers. The concept of transcending an object's original purpose to harmonize with natural flora is deeply rooted in traditional Japanese aesthetics.

A scene where rugged iron rust, a charming copper crab, and fresh autumnal vitality intersect. What resides there is Japan's unique grace and "Understated Elegance."
