鶴首に似て非なる「曽呂利（そろり）」。 その真髄は、柔らかな下部の膨らみと、全体を支える凛とした高台にあります。

本作は古銅として伝わりますが、その奥深い肌合いには、銀や錫を含む「砂張（さはり）」を思わせる静かな微光が宿っています。長い年月がもたらした金属の艶は、空間に澄んだ気韻を漂わせます。

名の由来とされるのは、豊臣秀吉に仕えた御伽衆、曽呂利新左衛門。 彼のしなやかな立ち居振る舞いや独自の美学が、この滑らかな曲線に重なるようです。 箱に記された「ゾロリ」の墨書きにも、時代を超えて受け継がれてきた歴史の静寂が息づいています。

ただそこにあるだけで奥ゆかしい品格を添える、確かな文化の断片です。

Distinct from the Tsurukubi (crane neck) shape, the Sorori possesses a quiet grace entirely its own. Its true essence lies in the soft, swelling curve of its lower form and the dignified raised base that gently supports it.

While passed down as old copper, the profound texture and subtle gleam of its surface whisper of Sahari—a highly prized ancient alloy incorporating tin and silver. The deep, serene luster, nurtured over countless years, imparts a crystalline purity to the surrounding space.

The name is said to originate from Sorori Shinzaemon, a trusted cultural attendant who served Toyotomi Hideyoshi. His supple, elegant demeanor and unique aesthetic sense seem to gracefully dwell within these smooth, flowing lines. The ink inscription "Zorori" resting on its wooden box breathes with a serene history, thoughtfully passed down through the ages.

Simply by existing within a space, it imparts an understated elegance—an authentic legacy of culture.
